Dr. John Giordano, DMD
Dr. John J. Giordano IV DMD, COL was born and raised in Worcester, MA. He attended Saint Johns High School graduating in 1988 and Assumption College graduating in 1992. Dr. Giordano DMD, COL then attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston graduating in 1996. He chose to move back to Worcester and has been practicing dentistry ever since graduation. Dr. John J. Giordano DMD, COL furthered his dental education when he completed a year-long fellowship in Forensic Odontology at the Center for Education and Research in Forensics at the University of San Antonio Texas. While practicing general dentistry he served as a Dental Forensic Consultant to local law enforcement and the Rhode Island Medical Examiners office. In 2009 Dr. Giordano joined the MA Army National Guard. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2013. He currently holds the rank of Colonel and serves as the State Dental Officer for MA. His passion for dentistry continues as he serves the community as the Dental Consultant for the Worcester Child Development Head Start Program. Dr. Giordano is active in the Worcester Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He loves to interact with his patients and believes dental education and understanding will lead a patient to optimal dental health.
Dr. Jonila Buzzell, DDS
Dr. Jonila (Pishtari) Buzzell grew up in Worcester and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Boston University. Dr. Buzzell then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Buzzell has been practicing in the Worcester area since she graduated from Tufts University in 2012. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Worcester District Dental Association. She has volunteered her time at Special Olympics to help raise awareness in the importance of dental hygiene for children and adults with disabilities. Dr. Buzzell takes great satisfaction in providing excellent care for her patients. In the past, Dr Buzzell, has received the Clinical Excellence and Patient Care Awards. Dr Buzzell strongly believes in catering to each patient’s needs by formulating a comprehensive treatment plan that will suit their individual requirements. In 2014, Dr. Buzzell furthered her dental education by taking classes in digital dentistry for more comprehensive crown design and milling. Dr Buzzell believes that every patient should have the confidence to smile.
